The Rehumanism Prize · Talks
Much of what reaches us each day is built to hurry us, divide us or sell to us. Art can do the opposite. It slows us down, helps us notice one another, and reminds us what we share. We think the public needs more evenings like that, so alongside the Prize we are starting a series of talks on humanism, connection and warmth. We would love you to give one.

You don't need to be famous or an academic. Painters, teachers, nurses, therapists, historians, collectors and curious people of every kind are welcome. All we ask is something true and generous to say about art and being human.
How making and looking at art helps people heal, grieve, cope and recover.
What art is for, and why it matters now more than ever.
Art that restores attention, energy and hope after hard seasons.
Family, friendship and community in pictures, and how art brings people together.
Why beauty still matters, and how a beautiful picture can tell the truth.
Craft, skill and the mark of a person in an age of machines.
These are starting points, not limits. If your idea serves the same spirit, propose it.
Proposed dates, to be confirmed
Each date is confirmed with its speaker. Whether a talk is recorded is agreed with the speaker first.
Tell us your idea in a few lines. There is no fee to propose, and a rough idea is fine: we are happy to help shape it.
